Private Childrens’, Family and Adult Events
It’s not just about supplying skates! All of our Private Event Staff have worked at our public events, so know how to help even the youngest of guests have a wonderful experience, even if they have not skated before! Games, music and even, wherever possible, lighting is tailored to the ages of those attending. Party bags, cakes and additional props and extras can also be provided to give your event the finishing touches. Nothing is set in stone so most requests (within reason!) can be accommodated. Additional insurances are in place for events where alcohol is to be consumed.
Venues
The purchase of quad skates with non-marking urethane wheels has opened up venues previously unwilling to entertain skating of any description such as sports centres, churches and community halls, warehouses and a dance studio. This has allowed us to hold Public, Private and Schools events throughout the South of England. The operation is fully mobile with the only real restriction being the size and make-up of the venue itself. All venues are inspected prior to an event and venue-specific Risk Assessment drafted to comply with our comprehensive Public Liability Insurance.
RocknRoller have a constantly-growing list of venues throughout The South of England capable of accommodating from 30 to 300 guests. But if you think you might know of a suitable venue for your party, RocknRoller will contact the venue on your behalf to assess its suitability. We also have a Venue-Finder Service which is fully refundable upon booking of your party.
What’s Included:
- Skates: Ranging from Junior Size 8 to Adult Size 12. All skates are regularly serviced and are all fitted with non-marking urethane wheels. Skates are treated with anti-bacterial spray after each use.
- Full Safety Equipment: Elbow, knee, wrist guards and helmets are provided, all conforming to appropriate BS safety standards.
- Sound and Lighting: A fully portable sound and lighting rig is provided incorporating:
- 2 x RCF ART522 Speakers (Inc stands/leads)
- Numark CD Mixer II
- Lighting Rig
- 2 x Martin Raptor Sound-Reactive Lights
- 36” Glitter Ball with Spot
- DJ/Music/Games: Clients will be asked in advance for specific music preferences and games and prizes suitable to the relevant age-groups will be incorporated into the event at no extra cost.
- Staff: A minimum of 3 trained staff will be present to assist with the fitting of skates and pads and the marshalling of the event. For children’s parties, clients are encouraged to provide additional adult supervision wherever possible with no additional costs incurred for non-skating spectators.
- Venue Risk Assessment: All venues will be inspected prior to the event and subsequent Venue Specific Risk Assessment made available for both Venue Manager and Party Organiser.
- Public Liability Insurance: Copies available upon request. Where alcohol is to be consumed by skaters at an event an additional fee will apply to cover an additional premium and Adult Disclaimer literature which will need to be signed and returned by those attending.
- Transportation: Transport charges included within a 20 mile radius of Company Office. Additional mileage and London Weighting allowance may apply where necessary.
VENUE HIRE IS NOT INCLUDED
Optional Extras:
- Additional Staff: For large events, where limited adult supervision at Under 18s parties is anticipated or when specifically requested, additional staff can be provided at extra cost.
- Skate-Specific Party Bags: Available by prior arrangement. (Glo sticks/necklaces etc, TuTus, Legwarmers, Neon clothing and accessories.)
- Additional Sound/Lighting Equipment: For larger venues additional items including lights, speakers, lasers etc are available. POA
- Private Room Hire: At some of our existing venues, rooms are available to be used for the setting up of food or simply to be used as a “breakout” area. These are available at cost price to us dependant on availability.
- Portable Rink: These rinks can be used in or outdoors and come in a variety of sizes. All professionally assembled and fully insured.
- Venue Hire: RocknRoller now have an ever increasing list of venues throughout Surrey and Kent. Prices vary according to location and size of event. New venues can be sourced for a fee which is fully refunded upon booking.
As with all of our party packages, we offer a range of skate-themed party bags, a birthday cake service and we now have several catering companies on board capable of providing food for your special day. We can also provide T-shirts, glow sticks / bracelets / necklaces, leg warmers and fluorescent clothing to help create the theatre of the event.
